R e l i q u a r i e s

A reliquary is defined as a container in which sacred relics are kept.  I am using the term to describe a glass art piece that hold ashes of a deceased loved one.  There is a ten-year space between the first two shown here, during which time I've learned to better control the bubbles inherent in glass projects and to incorporate a newly-acquired skill with silk-screening for greater detail in portraits.
